| I have a small website on my home computer. I am running MS XP Pro. The site is running great but the hit counter will not work. I am using Frontpage XP. Is there away to get the server extention funtions without setting up a complete server?

| You must be using IIS with extensions installed.
You must then publish the disk-based web to http://localhost/webname
Then you should from that point work in the web via http://localhost/webname so that you are using
the run-time extensions components. However with forms you will not be able to send email on your
local machine.

| Did you apply/configure the extensions for the web site after installing via the IIS MMC, and right
clicking on the specific web, then All Task?
Did you add the hit counter to the page while you had the site open via http://localhost/webname ?
Are you testing this in the browser via http://localhost/webname/pagename.htm ?
