I am working on a website for a friend:
http://www.capitaltitleagency.com and am having some
trouble with the forms. I know nothing about website
creation or any of the programs I am using beyond
teaching myself what to do from being familiar with other
Microsoft programs. When I'm getting the following
errors at various points of trying to publish a form:

This form is being created on a disk-based web or the
FrontPage Server Extensions have not been configured to
send e-mail. Please direct your system administrator or
ISP to the instructions in "Setting up e-mail options on
wondows" or "setting up e-mail options on UNIX" in the
server extensions resource kit. If you do not have the
server extensions resource kit, you can find it at
http://www.microsoft.com/frontpage/wpp/serk.

The following pages in your we site contain dynamic
FrontPage components such as a search form or a FrontPage
form handler. They will not work because the server you
are publishing to does not have the FrontPage Server
Extensions or SharePoint Services from Microsoft
installed. To upgrade to the latest version of FrontPage
Server Extensions or SharePoint Team Services from
Microsoft contact your ISP or system administrator.

So my first thought was to download to FPSE for FP 2002.
When I go to install I get an error telling me I first
need to instal' IIS 4.0 or greater. I tried to find this
to install, but have no idea what I'm doing.

Can any one give me simple steps as to what I need to do
in order to get the form's "submit" button working?

Windows XP Pro
FrontPage 2002

What else do you need to know to help me?
Thanks!

To install IIS and the FP2000 extensions, go to Control Panel | Add/Remove | Windows Components |
IIS

However you still will not be able to send email from the local machine, and even if you could it
wouldn't matter as the host must have the server that is hosting the site setup to process email.

The website does not appear to have FrontPage extensions installed.
FP extensions are required for FP forms, and some other components, to work.

Either ask the host to install FP extensions on the server, or ask the host
what server side scripts/languages they support for form handling. (you may
be able to install the extensions yourself using the sites control panel, if
provided).

The extensions must be installed on the server you are publishing to, not on
your own system.
