FPSE 2003 broken on W2k3

We have Windows Server 2003 Standard with multiple virtual sites. Recently
the frontpage admin web pages have stopped working: giving "The page cannot
be displayed"

I have checked the "Microsft Sharepoint Administration" site in iis manager
and can see no problems.

I have tried removing and reinstalling from add remove windows components
and still it will not work.

Any ideas ?

I had to reinstall the FPSE 2002 on my Win2003 server. Be sure to make the
components in the directory:

C:\Program Files\Common Files\Microsoft Shared\web server extensions\50\

executable as required. (see microsoft's sites for specifics)
