can't publish

I can't publish to my host. They use unix and say i need
to publish with frontpage exlusively or my site doesn't
work. (even with extensions enabled)
I tried ftp and explorer to publish. My site didn't work
properly once uploaded. I have a problem with my copy of
office. When I try to repair or reinstall it pops open a
window which says.
"unable to access configurator for MS personal web server"
I think this is why i can't publish.
Can anyone share some info with me?
Can I get frontpage to work for me anymore?
