Author FP98 on FP2003 server?

I am trying to find a server to host my web page. I have FP98 and the
server only claims to support the newest version of FP. One host says that
I need to upgrade to 2003 and the other says:

"We support up to Front Page 2003 extensions. As far as I know, the
extensions are always downward compatible so Front Page 98 won't be a
problem."

Is this true? This host has everything I need, except the specific support
of my version of FP is questionable. There are a few others that
specifically support the '98 version, but lack some features I would like.
I like the scheme in FP98 and know either in 2002 or 2003 the scheme is
dropped. Thanks.

Mike D.

There are no FP2003 extensions - the latest are FP2002.

If the host is Unix you may not be able to use FP98 unless they are running
FP2000 extensions. The latest extensions on Unix do not support FP98. A
Windows host does not have that handicap.

IMO you should upgrade. FP98 is now over 6 years old and virtually
unsupported.

What is the newest version that still has the Construction Zone scheme?

I don't use themes (if that's what you mean by scheme), but if you open a
site with that theme and publish to your PC, it should be added to the
available themes.
