| Having some issues with assigning permissions through FP
Tools/Server/Permissions. I am getting the following error when trying. "an
error occured accessing your Windows Sharepoint Services site files. Authors-
if authoring against a Web server, please contact the Webmaster for this
server's Web site".
Has anyone come accross this? I need to add some permissions for certain
users.
Also in the App log I am getting a couple of different "FrontPage Server
Extensions Error"
1 is OS Error # 2147483622 Message: exception occurred at 0x00f12b23
2 is Error #80002 unrecognized windows exception. I did find an article
on that but to no avail.
3 is Error #e0024 Getting SID's account name failed.

| Forgot to add this is on a Windows 2000 server, running IIS 5
It does have many webs on it as well.

| I think I found a good article on this. I have not tested it yet but will let
you know if it works.
