Windows 2000 (latest Sp's and patches) & FP SE 2002. Lockdown tool used.

FP SE working fine on all pages EXCEPT aspx's.
Server is set to log object access failures - no log entries. No other
interesting event log entries.

Any ideas ?
Thanks David.

Hi David,

The FrontPage Server Extensions are not used for ASP.NET pages.

Well that explains all - except why ?

Thanks for your reply, but does that not make most of Fp useless with FP SE
..net stuff ?

David.

Does your host provider have the .NET Framework installed on the server?

I don't understand your question. There is no such thing as "FPSE .NET
stuff." The FPSE are completely unrelated to the .NET Framework.

The FrontPage Server Extension never interact with the .Net Framework or
ASP.Net. The FP 2003 client has the ability to write data-driven codes in a
particular server technology, such as ASP or ASP.Net, but that doesn't mean
the Server Extensions themselves interact with the .Net Framework, only the
code on the particular page does.

Hope this helps,
