Running IIS 5 with some remnants of 2000 server extensions.2000 server
environment.

Getting the message:
The server administration programs and the server extensions on the web
server are not compatible. The server administration program is too old to
use with this server.

Ths also happens when I want to uninstall from IIS Admin..

Thanks for the help in advance

You must have the 2002 extensions installed. The 2002 extensions use a
web-based admin control. When that is present you can no longer manage
extensions from within the MMC. It's just letting you know that you need to
find the link to the web-based admin, which is usually under the Control
Panel | Administrative Tools.

You can completely remove the FP 2000 Extensions by uninstalling them
through the Add/Remove Windows Components and disabling the 2000 server
extensions option under the IIS node.

Hope this helps,
