| I hope someone can help me. I've been looking to fix this problem all
afternoon. I am getting the following error message:
Server error: Cannot open file 'httpd.cnf' for read/write
Here is what I am trying to do:
1. open created web site
2. click on Remote Web site at bottom of Contents pane
3. click on Remote Web site properties
4. type in the Remote web site location
5. click ok
6. i get a message that says the location was not found do i want frontpage
to create it for me, i say yes.
7. I get the error message!
I have Windows XP pro, FrontPage 2003, IIS installed, and Frontpage 2000
extenstions installed.
Thanks for any help or suggestions,
Shar

| Shar,
httpd.conf implies an Apache server on the Remote site. You need to
contact the ISP about allowing new webs.
