Error message AND fpse2002

| Hola!
i'm having troubles getting fpse2002 to install on my server at work
im using windows server 2000 and frontpage 2003 but i wanted to incorporate
the microsoft access database into the website for various purposes but
wanted to get the most out of the two by installing and using the frontpage
server extensions...i get this error when i try to install the fpse2002:
"The server administration programs and the server extensions on the web
server are not compatible. The administration program is too old to use with
this server."
This seems to also prevent me from editing the virtual server under IIS! if
anyone as any resolution or any ideas how to resolve this please let me know.

| still got nothing!
when i go back into Microsoft Sharepoint Administrator alls i see is:
set list of available rights
set installation defaults
reset user password
....and then under virtual servers i have:
Name: Eastampton
URL: http://MIDSRV
Version:6.0.2.6353
no link to extend or anything but when i do click on Eastampton linke i get
a page cannot be found error...please let me know what im doing wrong! i did
everything in order of operations as you stated before...
OS: Windows server 2000 w/ current updates
Frontpage: 2003 w/ current updates
Access: 2000
