| I have a Windows 2003 Server (fully patched) set up with a website that needs
FP 2002 server extensions. When I try to extend the extensions to my website
(by using the Sharepoint Administrator or by right clicking on the website
and selecting "Configure 2002 server extensions") the configuration page
appears and I am able to select the user I want to use and submit my changes.
At this point the page comes back and displays "Please wait while
processing". The problem is the process never finishes. I've let the
configuration run for a half hour and it doesn't appear to do anything. If I
kill the process and try to re-extend the extensions to the website I don't
get the option to configure extensions on the website. If I go through the
Sharepoint administrator I don't get the "Extend" option. Instead the version
shows version 6.0.2.6551 and I can't do anything. If I delete the website and
re-add it I don't get the configure option either.
Why can't I extend FP 2002 server extensions to my website and how can I
reset my website so I can re-configure extensions?
