I am running the FPSE 2002 that are shipped with 2003
server and IIS 6.

When the FrontPage 2002 Server Extensions Security Patch:
KB813380 came out in November of 2004 I was told by the
FP support at MS that this patch was not needed for the
extensions that were shipped with 2003 server and IIS6.

I now have heard conflicting reports from some others.
Does anyone have any info regarding this?

Thanks

The 813380 patch was released in November of 2003, not 2004.

Windows 2003 was released April 24, 2003.

Thus, the patch would have been released *after* Windows 2003.

I meant November 2003 :-( sorry. I did call MS security
support and they confirmed that the patch DID NOT need to
be installed on the 2002 extensions that were included
with 2003 server.

Thanks again.
