FrontPage Server Extensions for Windows - Submit form, nothing happens

Submit form, nothing happens

Can anyone please help? - Since I upgraded my Frontpage Server Extensions (to
FPSE 2003), my forms no longer work. When 'Submit' is clicked, nothing
happens - the screen flicks then returns to the form. Also, my form
validation doesn't work. I've been using FP for many years, so I know how to
configure forms. But this has got me pulling my hair out.

Deb: There are no FPSE 2003. Only FPSE 2002.
Can you please provide more details? Including what you downloaded and
installed and you you did it?

Thanks Tom - sorry about the duplicate posting - just getting desparate.
I already had FP2000 Extensions running on this Windows 2000 server (IIS
5.0). Can't remember now what went wrong, but I decided reinstall the 2000
Extensions but got an 'error' saying that 2000 Ext. couldn't be installed on
Win2000 Server. So I installed 2002 Extensions. I did this by downloading
the Ext. from MS Website and running them. Do you think I need to reinstall?

Did you install the FP 2002 extensions according to the following steps?

See the FrontPage 2002 Server Extensions Support Center at:
http://support.microsoft.com/defaul...fh;en-us;fp10se

1) Download the FP 2002 Server Extensions:
http://msdn.microsoft.com/library/d...l/fpse02win.asp
The English ones are at:
http://download.microsoft.com/downl...US/FPSE1002.exe

2) Download FP2002 Server Extensions Updates (and install in this order):
http://download.microsoft.com/downl...US/fpse1001.exe
http://download.microsoft.com/downl...US/fpse1002.exe

3) Download and install the SE Security Patch:
http://support.microsoft.com/defaul...kb;en-us;813380

Then to install and apply them see

Ummm..... not exactly.
I haven't applied the updates.
I'll do these installs and let you know how it goes.
