| We recently upgraded our web host to a Windows 2003 with FPSE. Now our
search commands will not work. Is thier a problem between Windows 2003 and
FP 2000?
Thanks.

| No problem. The FrontPage search component no longer works with Win 2003 as
Win 2003 has tighter security. If Indexing Services is turned on for the
web, you can use an ASP script instead to call the Indexing Service catalog.
This is actually much more powerful than the old FP search component. You
should be able to find lots of sample scripts for the searching Index
Services with ASP by perusing google.
Hope this helps,

| Have you created an Index Service catalogue for site, and has Index
Service been set as an allowed service within IIS?
The WAIS search will not work on IIS6 running on Windows 2003.
