| Recently the company that hosts our web site insisted we move our site from
a Win2000 shared server to a Win2003 shared server.
I begged them to allow us to stay on the Win2000 machine but they insisted
we make the move.
As you can imagine, the move ended up a nightmare for 2 weeks getting
everything to work again. (ASP, extentions, permissions, code changes etc)
But we finally got it all worked out.
Now another problem. I'm using FP2002 on a WinXP SP2 machine. Whenever I try
to open our web, my machine just hangs. It freezes my machine where
Ctrl-Alt-Del even fails.
Once I recevieved an error - System exception: access violation. But that
is the only error I've ever received. I've search MSKB without any luck.
Here's the kicker, the problem only occurs when connectiing to the Win2003
server. We have another site on a Linux server with extentsions - no
problems connecting here.
I've called the Win2003 host company and asked them to try to open our site
on their client - they connected immediately.
Any ideas.
TIA
Kerry
