Search engine specific folder
|
|
|
| I have put in a search engine on the website for my company's intranet. The
search engine works great however it searches in more folders than I would
like it to. It seems to search for everything under the Default Web Site,
which includes my website folder among other things.
Is there a way to make the search engine only search within a particular
folder? I was reading stuff on catalogs, but thus far am unable to properly
implement it.
cheers!

| Convert the folders that you want searched to subwebs, and put the search
component there.
Or, create a catalog in index server and customize it to search only the
areas of the site you want.
