Hi All

Not sure if this is the right newsgroup to ask this but here goes. I have a
freshly installed Win2k3 member server with IIS and server extensions
installed. All works fine except that the guy who will manage the intranet
for our site needs access to the server administration page of sharepoint
and i cant find any way to give him access to it unless i make him a server
administrator and i dont trust him with those kind of rights. Any help is
greatly appreciated.

Many Thanks

Are you going to be installing SharePoint Portal Server on this member
server. If yes, then you want to install the app server role and remove the
FPSE2002 from the box before you attempt to install SPPS2003. Otherwise, you
will never get the SPPS search function to work.

An administrator is an administrator is an administrator, and they smell just
as sweet by any other name.
