Attempting to email results of a FrontPage 2002 Form on my PWS. My PWS is XP
Pro. I've configured the sever extensions but I dont think correctly. This
is a small test LAN on a single domain. Below I have the feilds and the
values for email setup on the IIS manager.
Web Servers Mail Address: Customer_Support@AFMC.XRJ
Contact Address: Customer_Support@AFMC.XRJ
SMTP Mail Server: XRJ
Mail Encoding: Default
Character Set: Default

A million thanks in advance. I think the Feild SMTP Mail Server, might be
the problem but I'm not sure.

Thanks.... John

The mail server field requires a fully qualified domain name - it must
have a dot in it.
If the SMTP server is on the same LAN as the web server, use the IP
address as the mail server address, and set up the connection and
relay properties to accommodate that IP. If the SMTP server is on
the same IP as the web server, you can also use 127.0.0.1 as the IP
address.

Windows XP Pro will not run any version of PWS - I am sure you mean
IIS.

Ronx,

Thanks for the advice. I've tried using the IP of my Mail Server and
results were the same. Below you mentioned "and set up the connection and
> relay properties to accommodate that IP" at the risk of looking stupid could you tell me how to setup the connection and relay properties to accomendate that IP? The entire network is on one subnet.

Thank you very much
