|

| I have read mulitple people asking for help on this. Basically they get the
same group of links as an answer but I haven't seen anyone report sucess.
XP Pro
FP2003
IIs sucessfully loaded, can view my website but without frontpage
extention functionality
Download FP2002 Extentions and security patches
Installing FP2002, error message :
"The server administration programs and the server extentions on the web
server are not compatible. The administration program is too old to use with
this server."
I press ok to continue.
Installations continues aand finishes.
What do I do at this point? Punt?

|
| Configure the extensions.
Start->Control Panel->Administrative Tools->Microsoft Sharepoint
Administration
(the above is taken from IIS6 on Win2003, but the WinXP IIS5.1 is similar.)
This opens Internet Explorer and a set of pages that enable you to extend
the default website, set Web Site Administrators, Authors, etc.

| Thanks Ronx,
Als, it didn't work, I received the following error trying that:
"You are not authorized to view this page
You do not have permission to view this page using your current user account."
I have administrator permissions. I changed my entire hard drive to full
share. Put my User in every group and i still could not get in.
