Author Does linux still require patched Apache 1.3.19 for FP Extensions?

My GNU/linux 2.6.5-1.358 box has Apache 2.0.51. I want to install the Front
Page Server Extensions 2002 on it and the instructions say it requires a
patched Apache 1.3.19. Will this work if I have Apache 2.0.51 installed? I
went ahead and tried to install from the FP50.linux.tar.Z file but cannot
start the httpd daemon now. Here is the error I get:

/usr/sbin/apachectl -f /etc/httpd/conf/httpd.conf
Syntax error on line 155 of /etc/httpd/conf/httpd.conf:
Invalid command 'LoadModule', perhaps mis-spelled or defined by a module not
inc
luded in the server configuration

Is there a fix for this or do I need to install Apache 1.3.19 first?

Thanks,

I believe there is an alternative install script for Apache 2.xxx from
www.rtr.com

You may get better answers posting in
microsoft.public.frontpage.extensions.unix rather than here in
microsoft.public.frontpage.extensions.windowsnt

The faqs at www.rtr.com may also be of some assistance.

Use the fp_install.sh script to create the mod_frontpage.so for Apache
2.
Check http://www.rtr.com/fpsupport/faq2002dso.htm and
http://www.rtr.com/fpsupport/apache...age_readme.htm.
