Author Publishing .asp files - desperate!

I have a simple website with a simple database attached, created by FrontPage
2002 wizards. I can publish my website to my web server, but have had
problems (with 2 completely different web servers) in publishing my .asp
files.

With both web servers, when I come to publish, the global.asa shows a
status of 'conflict', and after 20 minutes of viewing a "copying file" dialog
box, a Microsoft FrontPage dialog box appears: "Could not find a web server
at www.mydomain.org.nz on port 80. Please check to make sure that the web
server is valid and your proxy settings are set correctly. If you are sure
that everything is correct, the web server may be temporarily out of service."

But it is not (out of service), as I am immediately returned to my "publish"
screen, showing the files on my computer compared to the files on the server.
And my
results_page.asp has not published i.e. it does not appear on the web
server. The database has pulished OK. It is just the .asp files that will
not publish.

A support person at my latest web server has successfully published my web
site from his computer, so the problem appears to lie with my computer
settings.

Any suggestions?

I can answer my own question. It was nothing to do with FrontPage, FrontPage
Server Extensions or ASP. It was to do with Norton Internet Security picking
up what it thought was the HTTP_MS_SQL_XML_CrossSiteScripting virus, because
the Results_page.asp (to display my database's contents) file as some FPSE
code written to it when it is published to the web server. Once I excluded
this so-called virus from my local network, the file published with no
further problems.
