Using FrontPage 2002 with 2002 Server Extensions. Using Sharepoint Team
Services for administration. Using Win XP. Using IIS 5.1. I have user name
and password to ftp to my folder on the school's website. I am able to ftp a
website from localhost to this folder.

When I try to http a website from localhost to this same folder, I get
message saying the extensions may not be installed. This school server runs
Win NT 4.0. The server administrator says the server extensions are on as far
as he can tell. He is new. How can he or I tell for sure if the 2002
extensions are installed? What other things needs to be installed for the
website to publish using http? I saw IIS 3.0 on his program list. I saw
under Services: FTP Publishing--Automatic and World Wide Publishing
Service--Automatic.

FrontPage Server Extensions 2002 are not compatible with IIS 3.

Publishing with FrontPage:

To find out if the extensions are installed, see:
