| When I try to publish the files, I get the message : Unable to open "server
name"
Server error: The web server at "server name" does not appear to have
Windows share point services installed. Possible causes:
The web server might not have server extensions installed.
Server maybe temporarily out of service
If you are connecting through proxy erver, settings may be incorrect.
An error may have occured in the web server.
I have win 2000 server, server extensions installed are 2002. Trying to
publish from Frontpage 2003
I also dont know how to check on my 2000 server if the extensions are
running/configured properly or not. I believe iis ver 3.0 is installed on win
2000 server. Any help would be greatly appreciated. Thanks in advance.

| Have you contacted the host of your remote server about this?
IIS 3.0 is *not* part of Windows 2000 Server. It is IIS 5.0

| The server is on my company's Intranet and I am preparing the web site.
Everything works if I ftp the files, with that I know that there is a
possibility of corrupted server extensions. Also when I try to check the
server extensions, I get a message server extensions are not configured for
this server. When I try to configure the server extensions on the server, I
get an error stating The web for the URL \ cant be created as the dir falls
under another web.
