Hello all. Hoping someone has figured this out. I have FP extensions 2002 on
both Win 2K and XP installed and working...but I have one minor annoyance:
in the MMC console, all of the old functionality for the obsolete FP2K stuff
still shows. Of course if you try to use it you get the "won't work...too
old error". So my question is: how do I rid my IIS 5 MMC console of the non
working, error generating FP2K junk?

Any hints, advice or opinions will be greatly appreciated!

Control Panel - Add Remove Programs - Windows Components - IIS - unselect FP 2000 SE

Thanks Stefan... I had tried this once before with no effect. But I tried it
again and noticed that I also had FP98 extensions installed. So I
uninstalled all versions and the artifacts mostly disappeared, the only one
left being the server extensions tab which states the extensions have not
been installed and to do this seperately. my guess is that the aretfacts
weren't removed before due to the presence of the 98 stuff. So this is good.
I'm now trying to install Sharepoint 2001 portal server on this box and am
having trouble there...but that's another story. Thanks for encouraging me
to look again, things are looking up extension wise.

Jon
