the server extensions were unable to access the file "frontpg.lck

| As part of my "FrontPage" class assignments, the students are to design a
webpage and then I publish them via my webpage. To do this, I import their
files up into a folder in my FrontPage and then link and publish from there.
The problem that I am getting is as I am ready to start deleting their files
from my FrontPage, I am getting an error message telling me that I cannot
delete the files.
The message reads: "Server Error: The server extensions were unable to
access the file "frontpg.lck". Please check file permissions. Contact your
Internet service provider or Web Server administrator for more information.
Why can't I just delete these imported files?
