Error when creating blank web

| Hi,
I keep getting an error when trying to create a new blank web;
I have Win2K3 Ent and Frontpage 2002.
I have tried the following for the webs location;
http://localhost/webname and also http://computername/webname and on both
occassions i get the following error;
Server error: Error 5 opening registry key "SOFTWARE\Classes\" and then the
class name.
I have uninstalled / reinstalled extensions and this hasn't worked,
re-installed SP1, checked office update and windows update and search the web
(and microsofts web) and have come up dry.
Any ideas before the PC gets flying lessons.....

| Ok, Don't know what i did, but;
Checked server health and 'fixed' the tighten security on root web.
+Recalculated webs
and it works now!
Another gremlin in the works.
