Trouble Publishing Sub-Webs in FP2002
|

| I have created a new folder in my web and converted it to a web (or
sub-web.) I added pages to the sub-web, then saved all and published it to
Comcast's server after putting a check mark in the "Include Sun-Webs" check
box on the FP2002 publish dialogue. I guess that's the right way to go
about publishing sub-webs. If not, please advise. I got some kind of FP
error message in the midst of publishing in that instance. Comcast does
support FP extensions. However, I don't know whether they support the FP
sub-web extensions or not. I'm not even sure whether the can support FP
extensions without supporting sub-webs. Worse still, no one on Comcast's
online support staff will tell me whether they support FR sub-web
extensions. I guess those folks simply don't know, so they send back
mindless canned responses to my e-mailed questions on this subject.
I would greatly appreciate anyone here who knows whether Comcast supports
sub-webs sharing the benefit of their valued experience and knowledge on
that subject with me.
I would also greatly appreciate any feedback as to whether or not I'm going
about the task of publishing sub-webs correctly.

| According to other posts I've seen in the FP newsgroups, Comcast does not
support you creating subwebs. You'll need to contact them to see if *they*
will set up the subwebs.

| Thanks, Tom!
I was afraid of that. Unfortunately, I think the folks that one can contact
at Comcast are in India or God knows where, but not here. And they really
don't care one whit about the needs of Comcast's customers. Nevertheless,
I'll give them a call.
I sincerely appreciate the benefit of your knowledge and experience.
