| I installed IIS and 2002 server extensions. IIS says "default web site" is
running. When I use: http//localhost/ in IE6 I tet the message: HTTP 403
(forbidden) "You are not authorized to view this page". What have I done
wrong, and how do I fix it? Thanks for the help

| In IIS MMC (Control Panel->Administration Tools->Internet Information
Services Manager) expand the tree and right click on Default Web Site
On the Documents tag note the page names.
In FrontPage open the website (File->Open Web and location is
http://localhost/ and check the name for your home page. Either add
this name to the list in IIS Manager, or rename the home page to one
that is in the IIS default page list.
If this does not work or has already been done, then if using FP2000
extensions:
from IIS MMC, right click on Default Web Site, Choose All Tasks->Check
Server Extensions and allow security to be tightened.
If running FP2002 extensions, in FrontPage run
Tools->Server->Administration Home, then run Check Server Health and
tick all four Repair checkboxes.
