SUBMIT form to file FP2000

| Using FrontPage 2000; trying to use form on Comcast.net Personal Web Page; I
have several times cycled through the FP extensions "subscription" to allow
extensions. I enter info in the form and click on SUBMIT. The next screen
tells me, "Cannot run the FrontPage Server Extensions on this page:
"http://home.comcast.net/visitor_log.htm"" this appears to be a wrong URL,
in as much as it does not indicate my PWP part of the URL. I don't doubt
that the extensions can't be run in the URL reported.
Can anyone shed any light on this? I have been through a ton of discourse
with Comcast online support chat to no avail.
Thanks

| Make sure that you are publishing using the FP Publish Web (through File |
Publish Web) feature and not via FTP. FrontPage needs to talk directly to
the web server in order to ensure that the server extension features work
properly. When publishing, make sure that you publish to http:// and the
location of your site and not accidentally to ftp://
Hope this helps,

| Also on the fp, if full extensions are used, you need to be directly
connected to the domain of your website and build the form live. Not Publish
the form to the website. Doing the publish form, breaks the link between your
email and the extension or webbot you are trying to use. =o) Happy webbing.
