argh!

IIS 6.0 on win2003 std, Frontpage 2002
Content stored on win2003 std share

When I try to extend a web with FP Server Extensions I get a red exclamation
mark:
"Warning: Your FrontPage web content is stored on a UNC share.
Anyone will be able to browse the content of your FrontPage web. To enable
FrontPage's access protection, uninstall the FrontPage server extensions,
reconfigure your Microsoft Internet Information Server to use a local
partition and reinstall the FrontPage server extensions."

I found a few pointers in the IIS resource-kit page 1057 on how to
modify the registry to allow UNC and Domain user accounts, but I just can't
get it working...

I have added anonusergroupprefix="domainname\prefix", allowUNC="1",
nomachinegroups="1" to HKLM/..../all ports. Added the permissions for
webserver to access share, specified new anonymous user for website + basic
authentication in stead of windows integrated.. and otherwise tried to
follow the rather vague instructions on creating user accounts in AD, but I
can't get it working.

Has anybody tried this - and made it work !? I'm getting a bit desperate
here :-\

As you haven't include any hint as to what the problem is in your post, we
have no way to know how to help you.
