Hello, I have paid for fp server extensions to be enabled on my site, which I
have been publishing to quite hapily thru ftp. When trying to publish via FP
using extensions the system just says that it cannot find my site. My Hosts
have thoroughly checked their end and are now suggesting it's my internet
security preventing anything getting out? Can anyone help, I have tried
switching it off but still nothing. I have Norton. Any suggestions welcome

If you have disabled NIS and there is no change then it is not NIS
If you have used FTP, the FP SE need to be repaired by your host
Then just try opening your site in FP using File Open Site and entering the URL as http://www.yoursitename.com/

Hi there,
Since I used ftp my host provider has reset extensions so I know they are
there waiting for me. I can open my homepage using the File Open command in
FP but is does not ask me for any passwords I can just see the page in it's
design view.

I am wondering if it is my Wireless connection which is installed on my
desktop (whre I am writing my site) but also services my laptop. The error
message is below
Unable to open http://www.mylittleyellowduck.co.uk Possible causes: 1. The
web server may not have the FrontPage Server extensions enabled. 2 The web
server may be temporarily out of service. 3. If you are connecting through a
proxy server, the proxy settings may be incorrect. 4. An error may have
occurred in the web server.
