Author change (CHMOD) in front page?

How can I change permission of a file (CHMOD) in front page on my server when
I use (file->opensite) method in opening my site. thanks

Use a third party FTP application, such as WS_FTP or CuteFTP.
Do not change any permissions for files in _vti* folders.
FrontPage does not have the ability to use CHMOD
