Author Cannot Publish Web Site Externally (Outside of LAN)

I'm currently running IIS 6.0 on a Windows 2003 SBS box with FrontPage Server
Extensions configured and running. When I set up FrontPage 2003 internally
(within the LAN), the user is able to connect and publish just fine to the
server. However, when I set up FrontPage outside of the LAN (at home) to
publish to the web server, the following error message appears:

Server error: The web server at "....." does not appear to have Windows
SharePoint Services installed.
Possible causes:
1. The web server may not have the FP extensions installed.
2. The web server may be temporarily out of service.
3. If you are connecting through a proxy server, the proxy settings may be
incorrect.
4. An error may have occured in the web server.

I comfirmed the FrontPage Extensions today and even recalculated the entire
web site, and still, I get the same issue: works internally, not externally.

I've double checked all the ports on my router; port 80 and 443 are both open.

I would greatly appreciate some assistance.

Is the router set up to forward port 80 to the SBS server?

For a server open to the internet you need other security measures,
such as a dedicated web server in a DMZ. The SBS will be vulnerable
to attack unless it is properly secured.

Yes, the router does forward port 80 to the server. I can view the web site
outside of the LAN.
