Author Problem with Formdata.htm

I have successfully published a Publisher document on the web and it returns
the data that I need. However, the records that show in Formdata do not have
a record delimiter. The individual fields are delimitted but one record runs
straight into the next. How can I force my website to return data that can
be copied straight into Excel from Formdata.htm so that I see each record in
a separate row?

Thank you for any help

Please give a URL for the page.
I have never seen this problem when using FrontPage. Your question
may be better answered in a Publisher newsgroup.

I posted to this newsgroup on the following advice:

That server side data processing is done by FrontPage Server Extensions.
Publisher has no control over the extensions. To my knowledge the extensions
do not have any configurable options, but you are welcome to post to the
frontpage server extensions newsgroup to ask if the output can be
configured.

Like David, I have no knowledge of any configuration options in the
extensions to correct this.

Are you using a Linux server? - if so be sure to download the file as
a Text/ASCII file, if downloaded as Binary (which could happen in a
third party FTP client) the line endings will be incorrect and could
be misinterpreted as missing.
