Sharepoint Administration Web Forms Not Working
|

| Hello,
I just installed Win 2k3 server on a new machine, and configured the server
to be an application server, so that it installed IIS, and the Frontapge
Server Extension, and .Net.
I am trying to configure the Default Website using the Server Extension 2002
tab in IIS Manager, but for some reason, none of the web based
administration screens are allowing me to submit the changes. It seems like
the Submit buttons are disabled.
I have seen this happen on other servers in the past, and was not able to
correct the problem.
Strange thing is, is it is a completely fresh install from the Win 2k3
server disk, so it is not working, and there has been no changes made, aor
any third party software installed.
Any idea what is causing this? I can't configure my web server, until I can
get the Sharepoint Services forms working again.
Thanks!

| Ok, I had an idea, and it seems to of corrected this particular problem.
I wondered if the security settings in IE might be interferring with the
ability to submit the administration forms, so I changed them to the lowest
setting, and now the web based administration works just fine, and I am also
not prompted to enter my user credentials while logged in as Administrator
already, which was annoying.
Hope this helps anyone else that might run into this same problem!
