Installing FP Ext. 2002 on Windows 2000 SP4 - Internal Error
|
|
|
| I am trying to install the FP Server Extensions 2002 onto my Windows 2000
machine. I get through most of the install, but when it's copying files and
gets to cfgquiet.ini, suddenly a pop up says:
"An internal error has occured. (E:\ )"
Then you click okay, the install rolls back, and the Application event log
has:
Event ID 10005
Error
Msiinstaller
"An internal error has occured..."
Currently, I have a web site running on the E:\ under a folder called
"intranet." Is this a permissions issue?

| I might have fixed my own problem. I checked the security permissions for
the root of E: and noticed that the only account listed was "Domain Admins".
I added "Administrators" and the install went all the way through.
