| I have read and read and read about this... supposedly upgrading to
"Pro" fixed it for some, but not for us. We upgraded to Pro on Friday
(and after 5 hours of downtime, and being told it was a hardware
problem, they DID finally get us back online). So we spent all weekend
trying to open files and save with Visual Interdev (which uses FP2002
extensions), and got the "Unable to Connect... server timed out" error
every time. As things seemed slower than before, we had them
"downgrade" us BACK to the consumer account which increased our speed
(go figure), but still hasn't fixed the FP2002 problem... whats weird
is that on the consumer one, we can "occassionally" connect, open a
file, make a change and save it (like 1 in 100 maybe). On Pro, we
could NEVER do it. But we still can't do it reliably - this is a real
problem since we are in these files all the time, and FTP-ing them
down, changing and FTP-ing them back up is a REAL hassle!
