| Whenever I set up a Discussion Web site (pages) at hosting company
StartLogic, I encounter several unexpected problems, although the wizard
seems to perform as expected, using all default selections:
1. The "Home" link goes to "index.htm" rather that to "index html";
therefore, I get "page not found." This link does work correctly on
Tripod.com with either htm or html as suffix for index.
2. Articles can be posted just fine, but from the article window, links
other than Home, Contents, Search, & Post encounter a blockage. These other
links are Reply, Next, & Previous. In each case the link starts with
http://misga.org/_vti_bin/shtml.exe/disc2_post.htm?1, e.g. This leads to a
Page not found messages, after considerable delay (20-30 secs). It appears
that shtml.exe cannot be found at _vti_bin.
Any help will be appreciated. Is this a server problem (with FrontPage
Extensions) or is there a bug in FrontPage 2003?
