can't login to my site administration

| Hi,
I extended FP extension and when I try to open the site administration, it's
asking for a username and password. I tried all possible usernames
(including the admin one) but no luck
Any idea?
Thanks

| Could be related to SP1. I have had to un-install it for the extensions to work correctly, etc.

| It is under Add/Remove unless MS has made a more recent version non-removable. The last time I
installed and then removed it was back in November.

| If SP1 came as part of the O/S, (meaning you didn't install it yourself) it
cannot be removed.

| Ok so I can't uninstall SP1 but my Frontpage won't work either because of
this issue. Do I need to reinstall the OS from scratch?

| Microsoft says you only need to add the registry entry listed in this
support article.

It worked for me.

| It doesn't solve all problems/issues create by the installation of Windows 2003 Server SP1 with the
FP 2002 extensions.

| That may well be. I only use frontpage extensions for posting my website (I
don't use Frontpage). This allows me to configure the security on the site
so I can use it for this. I can't speak to the rest of it. Thanks for the
help.
