Author Problem with adding form to existing FP site

I am getting a FP error ("FrontPage Error.
User: please report details to this site's webmaster.
Webmaster: please see the server's application event log for more details.
") when I try to run a simple feedback form that I added to an already
existing FP site.
A little background - I have a web site, created using FP 2002, that works
fine on both my localhost and on the web server. I can make changes to the
existing pages, and they still work. The problem comes in when I try to add
a new form to the existing web site. I "Open Web" and go to
http://localhost/mysite to access the web site. Once there, I click on "New
Page" and choose "Feedback Form" from the templates. I save the feedback
form as "test_feedback.htm" with the form properties that it is saving the
form data in a "Formatted text file" located "_private/feedback.txt" (which
does exist because I have other text documents there from the existing web
site).
Any help on how to properly add new forms to an existing FP web site, would
be appreciated.
