Hi there,

Can anyone tell me what is the appropriate version of frontpage extensions
for windows 2003?

I need to be able to publish my website using frontpage XP and that's all I
need to do.

FP2002 are the latest extensions, FrontPage 2003 will also work with
FP2000 extensions, but do not use any components requiring the 2002
variety.

The only version of the FP extensions for Windows 2003 Server is the FP2002 that come on the Windows
2003 Server CD.

Yes, if you have one of the following:

Windows 2000 Pro with IIS Installed
Windows XP Pro with IIS installed

In either case you would install the version that comes on the CD first, then after you have them
working you can upgraded to the latest FP2002 version.

Hi all,

Can anyone help me about this error "FrontPage Run-Time Component Page
You have submitted a form or followed a link to a page that requires a web
server and the FrontPage Server Extensions to function properly.

This form or other FrontPage component will work correctly if you publish
this web to a web server that has the FrontPage Server Extensions installed.

Click the <Back> arrow to return to the previous page." ?

I keep getting this error from my website at my own server. I have already
checked the Frontpage knowledgebase and followed the instruction of removing
and re-installing the Frontpage extensions many times, but it doesn't help.

Regards,
Setsie

The text comes from _derived/nortbots.htm

nortbots.htm only appears in four cases:

1) You are testing on a disc-based website, including a FrontPage
disc-based web that is being browsed through a web-server.
2) You are testing on a website that does not have server extensions
installed or running
3) The site (or form page) was FTPed from a disc-based web, or
published using a FTP address for the destination, or published to a
file system destination including a network share or UNC address (like
\\machinename\path\webname). Publish must be to a URL of the form
http://example.com
4) There is a bug associated with FrontPage98 which causes this
problem.

Try opening your remote site (on the server) in FrontPage, then run
Tools->Recalculate Hyperlinks

If that fails, try republishing the site, using File->Publish, and the
location you are publishing to MUST be in the form http://example.com
or http://www.example.com (replace example.com with your own domain.)
