I installe FPSE in my local disk but I can't publish locally

I want to create a FPSE Web server in my notebook's hard drive so I can
publish my pages locally to see some web components like hit counters prior
to publish to the Internet.

I installed the FPSE from my Windows XP CD. I configured the FPSE but I can
not publish yet.

What do I am missing?

Make sure you have Internet Information Server installed as well.
Make sure you have extended the web site using the IIS manager.
