| When a search is submitted on one of my web pages, the following error is
returned: Cannot run the FrontPage server extensions on this page. The
website is running on IIS 6 and has the FP2002 server extensions installed.
Index Services is also running with the appropriate catalogs configured. The
page with the search component is an htm page. Other pages in the web are asp
pages.

| The author cleaned up any asp or server-side code and republished the page
and it still will not work.

must be named with an .htm or .html extension.
Otherwise, please post the code as obtained from browser View Source
of the page on the server. The code shown below indicates the form
is not set to use Index server, but this is required on IIS6. When
published, the code for the form should be expanded and corrected.

| In the webbot code, the attribute b-useindexserver="0" indicates the
search is set to *not* use Index Server, the alternative search method
is WAIS, which does not work on IIS6/Windows 2003.
Try opening the site on the server, (using http://domainname) and
removing the search component. Close the page and Tools->Recalculate
Hyperlinks. Then replace the component and check the page.
