Check In not working

| I turned on source control in FrontPage, I can check out files, but can't
seem to check them back in! I don't get a Check In option when I right click
a checked out file.
The weird thing is that the check in function works when trying the same
issue with another website / webserver.

| I have the same problem and the file is supposed to show a red check mark
when checked out to me, but shows a padlock instead. I have server extensions
installed.

| I have the same problem, and have had it in the past... everything works
fine, then for some reason, this starts happening. I have never been able to
find a solution, except for reinstalling Windows out of desperation

| I solved my own problem.
It has something to do with directory security in IIS. I used the basic
authentication method and it now works. This is not a recommended security
method, but it's the only way to get things to work properly.

| I finally started signing in as domain/username. When I put the domain name
in that format it works. I tried this because under last modified, it always
had my doemain name/username listed instead of just my username. I haad
always logged on with just username before I turned souce control on. I hope
this will help someone else.

| I found this KB article, which seems to be related to permissions of the
anonymous user being the culprit... going to try this and see if it works
