| Ihave a web server and had web forms sending emails. It was working fine
until a couple days ago. Now I get errors reporting that the users are not
authorized to veiw web page.
The server is a fully patched w2k3 server with FPSE installed contained on
an internel network. The web site in question uses Windows Authentication as
only staff are allowed to veiw/access the pages. Students can not be allowed
to access the information.
It worked fine for several months. now when staff fill in the form and press
the submit button, they get asked for a username and password (refering to a
local, not domain, password) and unless they provide an account that has
local administrative rights on that server, they get the message that they
are not authorised to veiw the page.
If I turn off Windows Authentication and allow annon access, the forms work,
except that the form is required to supply the details of the logged on user,
which it does not without the windows authentication. .
I have gone over all the setting and controls and I can not find an area
that the staff do not have appropriate access rights.
Any help?
