Hi. I am running into a roadblock and could use some assistance.

I am the administrator for both of these:

SERVER: Windows 2003 Server/IIS/Index Service/FPSE2002
CLIENT: XP-SP2/FP2003

PROBLEM:
Trying to get a search box in an html page to work against a catalog I setup
in Index Server. Even though I am able to successfully query the catalog
using the Index Server MMC snap-in, the search box does not return any
results (and no error messages).

The html page was published to the site using FP's built-in HTTP feature.
Evidence of the problem is that the code for the search box in the published
page is:

<!--webbot bot="Search" S-Index="All" S-Fields="TimeStamp,DocumentK,Weight"
S-Text="Search for:" I-Size="20" S-Submit="Start Search" S-Clear="Reset"
S-TimestampFormat="%d %B %Y %I:%M %p" TAG="BODY" b-useindexserver="0"
--></body></html>

.....notice: b-useindexserver="0" Something appears to be causing this
during the publishing process. (I published a similar page to a site on my
workstation to test (successfully; i.e. I get proper results) and then
verified that the code says
b-useindexserver="1").

As far as I can tell, everything necessary for this to work from the server
is configured same as my workstation.

I have configured the Catalog, have included the directory I want to be able
to search, and have associated it with the web site in question. In IIS, I
have checked Index this Resource on the home dir of the site. I have also
reinstalled FPSE on the server. Am I missing something else?

Advice/suggestions appreciated!
