| Please could somebody help me with this particular problem , before I loose
all of my hair, I am using front page 2003 with xp home on a toshiba laptop
3.200 pentium , I have tried to post a simple forum template onto my server
but whatever I do it will not work , I have ensured that the front page
server extensions are installed , which they are , but when the site is
posted using flash FXP , usual message appears , you have posted a site to a
web server ect, no fp server extensions, what is going wrong, I have posted
another site before which worked the forum perfectly on this server , is it
because I am using xp home ? or what , please help
--
thanx tomo.

| "flash FXP"? If this is a FTP program, that is possibly why the forum
fails. If the template requires the FrontPage extensions, it must be
Published to the server using File->Publish from the FrontPage menu,
and designating the destination in the form http://example.com
FTP will break the extensions. You may need to repair or reinstall
them.
