Website publishing to hard drive

| I have been trying to publish my web to my hard drive with no luck. I keep
seeing references to XP Pro and IIS; I am running XP Home, can it be done or
not.

| No, it can't be done. Requires WinXP Pro with IIS and the FP server
extensions installed. You can only run a disc-based web on XP Home.

| So, how can I do any testing, as far as entering data and verifying that it
actually made it to the database?

| To test with a database you need a webserver (running on Windows if
Access database) with FP extensions. This can be on your PC (Windows
XP Pro required) on the internet. Use a sub web in your hosted web
site for testing.

You need a Windows web server, XP Home will not support a web server.

| So far two people have told you that you need a web server, and XP
Home will not cut it.
I am about to say the same thing to your post in client.
