How do I - On Click I want to open pages in different frames

I am looking for a way to change pages displayed in two different frames from
one click of the mouse. Example: User clicks a button that opens a new
section of a web site which displays in the main frame and when this page
opens a second frame on the page displays a new page base on the page in the
main frame. Any ideas on how to do this?

I'm thinking there must be some way to program an action on opening of the
first page but haven't found anything.

Please help.
