Hello all. I have moved a frontpage site from one iis6 machine to another
iis6 machine. The data was just copied. The frontpage extensions were then
added, removed and added again. Everything except webbots seems ok. They
don't function. Any thoughts?

Cheers
Mark

You must http:// publish the webs to the new server after you have installed
the extensions. Not copy.

So, if I had 100 customers on an IIS 6 server, wanted to upgrade to a new
machine with better hardware etc., I would have to contact 100 users and
have them all re-upload their sites to the new machine? That makes no
sense. How do the hosting companies who have thousands of sites handle a
migration like that?

Cheers

If you had a hundred customers, you could use the migration tool. But, you
didn't say you had 100 customers. You said *a frontpage site*, didn't you.

Learn to give us more information before sniping at those that try to give
you advice.
